1. Agreement to Terms
By creating an AR Code account and or using our services, you or the company you represent (“licensee”, “you”) are unconditionally consenting to be bound by and are becoming a party to these terms and conditions (agreement). This agreement governs your use of AR Code technology in computers, mobile phones/tablets, and other devices (technology), access to AR Code’s proprietary platform that supports the functionality of the technology (platform), use of storage services for hosting content created, uploaded, or shared using the technology or platform (storage services), and other products and services that AR Code may provide (services). If you're entering into this agreement on behalf of an organization or entity, you guarantee you're authorized to bind them to these terms. If you don't unconditionally agree to these terms, you'll have no right to use the technology and/or services.
2. Privacy
Please review our privacy policy for information on how we use your information.
3. Changes to these Terms or the Services
We may update the Terms at any time, so please review them as often as possible. If we do, we will post a notice on the Site and/or may also send you a notice by email. Also, because our Services are evolving over time, we may change or discontinue all or any part of them at any time without notice to you.
4. Accounts
Only use our AR Code service if you are 18 years or older and able to form a contract with AR Code. If not, please do not use the Services. If you provide us with inaccurate, incomplete or out of date information, we might have to suspend or terminate your account. To protect your account, keep your account's details and password confidential. And let us know right away if there is any unauthorized use. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
"FREE TRIAL" and "STANDARD" accounts are limited to the use of a single natural person. For more people to work on the same AR Code account, please upgrade to a "PRO" account.
By using our AR Code service, you agree to receive marketing emails from our team. These emails may include promotions, offers, and other marketing messages related to our products and services. You may unsubscribe from these emails at any time by clicking the "unsubscribe" link located at the bottom of each email. However, please note that unsubscribing from our marketing emails does not opt you out of receiving important service-related communications, such as account updates or changes to our terms and conditions.
5. Intellectual property and Ownership of the content
Subject to full compliance with the terms of this Agreement, we will grant you a limited, personal, non-sublicensable, non-transferable, royalty-free, nonexclusive license to use and access our services solely for your internal business purposes.
Licensee shall also comply with Hosting Services Terms and Conditions below. We hereby grant Licensee a limited, personal, non-sublicensable, non-transferable, royalty-free, nonexclusive license to use and access the Hosting Services solely for its internal business purposes.
If you upload any third-party content (such as images, videos, or additional 3D models), the ownership of that content will not change. You must use such third-party content in accordance with the license provided by the original owner.
6. Subscriptions
Except for a Free Trial account AR Code requires payment of a fee for use of the Services and you agree to pay such fees.
When you purchase a subscription for the services, you expressly authorize us (or our third-party payment processor) to charge you for such subscription. All fees and applicable taxes are payable in United States dollars.
By agreeing to these terms, you acknowledge that your subscription has recurring payment features. You accept responsibility for all recurring payment obligations prior to cancelling your subscription by you or us. Your subscription continues until cancelled by you or us.
Cancelling Your Subscription: You can cancel your Subscription whenever your want. Upon request, your Subscription will be canceled right before your next payment period. This means you can still enjoy premium features until the end of your Subscription period.
Free Trials: We may offer to certain qualifying users a free trial for a specified period of time. If we offer you a free trial, the specific terms of your free trial will be provided at signup. Your use of the free trial is subject to your compliance with such specific terms. Certain limitations may exist with respect to combining free trials with any other offers.
7. Hosting service
AR Code offers AR cloud hosting services that enable you to upload and share content created using the Technology and Platform via AR Code's website located at https://ar-code.com (the "Hosting Services"). Your use of the Hosting Services is subject to the AR Code Terms and Conditions and your use of them is subject to the following additional terms:
1. Restrictions
Licensee will not (and will not encourage any third party to): reverse engineer or otherwise attempt to discover the source code of any aspect of the service (except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by applicable law), modify, translate, or create derivative works based on the service. Licensee shall not use the Services to create, develop, or continue a program that is competitive with the Technology.
Projects with extreme traffic, excessive hosting or live support requirements, or that violate the terms of service, are not allowed under the commercial license. Integrations with third-party platforms are also prohibited. Projects falling under these categories must obtain an alternate license. AR Code may require additional fees, suspend service, or approve an alternative license at its discretion.
Licensee is strictly forbidden to use the Hosting Services in a manner that:
Infringe or violate the intellectual property rights or any other rights of anyone else. Violate any laws or regulations, including any applicable export control laws. It's harmful, fraudulent, deceptive, threatening, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable. Jeopardizes the security of your account or anyone else's. Attempts, in any manner, to obtain passwords, account information, or other security information from any other user. Tracks or collects data about other users (such as usage data or any personal data), including cookies and log-in codes. Violates the security of any computer network, or cracks passwords and security encryption codes. Run any form of auto-responder or "spam" on the Hosting Services and you will not run any processes that run or are activated while you are not logged into the Hosting Services, that otherwise interfere with the proper working of AR Code's Services, or that copy or store any significant portion of the Content.
2. Use of the Hosting Services
The materials displayed or performed or available on the Hosting Services, including, but not limited to, augmented reality content, text, videos, graphics, data, articles, photos, images, illustrations, textures, meshes, code and scripts and Your Content (defined below) are protected by copyright and/or other intellectual property laws. You promise to abide by all copyright notices and trademark rules when you access the Hosting Services. You won't use any content not owned by you without the owner's permission.
You understand that AR Code owns the Hosting Services. You will not modify, publish, transmit, participate in the transfer or sale of, reproduce (except as expressly provided in this Section), create derivative works based on, or otherwise exploit any of the Hosting Services or Content. You agree not to distribute in any medium any part of the Hosting Services or Content without AR Code’s prior written authorization, unless AR Code makes available the means for such distribution through functionality offered by the Hosting Services (such as the features that enable you to embed Content on your own website).
3. Traffic
We limit the downstream traffic of Licensee accounts as following:
- 5GB downstream traffic/month for the FREE TRIAL plan
- 50GB downstream traffic/month for the STANDARD plan
- 500GB downstream traffic/month for the PRO plan
This policy is subject to fair use, we could require you to upgrade to a customized traffic volume premium account if needed by our hosting service infrastructure.
5. Commercial Uses
For commercial use of the service you have to purchase a licensee account that is appropriate for the type and size of your business.
An AR Code scan refers to the action of using a digital device to capture and interpret the data encoded within the AR Codes. In the specific case of the AI Code feature (AI Assistant), initiating a dialogue or interaction with the AI assistant is considered equivalent to an AR Code scan, as it activates a process to retrieve and present information or perform functions based on user input.
- STANDARD plan: individual or SMBs with less than 100 employees. AR Code scans beyond the 10,000/month limit: 0.10 USD/scan.
- PRO plan: SMBs and Enterprises of less than 500 employees. AR Code scans beyond the 100,000/month limit: 0.05 USD/scan.
Each company using AR Code services for commercial purposes needs to have its own license. If you represent a services company offering AR Code services or content to your customers, you must apply for a PRO plan that includes a reseller license. Each of your customers must have a Commercial License (either the STANDARD or PRO plan) to utilize the AR Code technology.

6. Reseller Uses
You agree not to use the service for reselling purposes unless you purchase a PRO plan that include a reseller license. Each of your customers must have a Commercial License (either the STANDARD or PRO plan) to utilize the AR Code technology.
7. DMCA
We respect others’ intellectual property rights and reserve the right to delete or disable content alleged to be infringing, terminate accounts of repeat copyright infringers, and review our complete Copyright Dispute Policy and learn how to report potentially infringing content.
8. Responsibilities
Any information or content you publicly post or privately transmit through or on the Hosting Services is the sole responsibility of the person who originated such content. You access all such information and content at your own risk. We do not guarantee the identity of any users with whom you interact in using the Hosting Services and are not responsible for which users gain access to the Hosting Services.
9. Interactions with Third Parties
The Hosting Services may contain links leading to third party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by AR Code. When you access third party websites or use third party services, you accept that there are risks in doing so. We encourage you to be aware when you leave the Hosting Services and to read the terms and conditions and privacy policy of each third party website or service that you visit or utilize.
AR Code has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, accuracy, privacy policies or practices of third party websites or any third party that you interact with through Hosting Services.
10. Termination
You can cancel your account subscription or delete your account at anytime by contacting us.
We may terminate your access to and use of the Services, including terminating your account, at any time and without notice to you.
11. Refund Policy
No Refunds After Use: Please note that refunds are not available once you have begun using the AR Code services. We encourage customers to review our services thoroughly before starting to ensure they meet your requirements.
Eligibility for Refunds: Refunds are considered only in cases where the service is faulty. To request a refund, please contact our customer service team with the relevant details.
Cancellation Policy: Subscription cancellations do not qualify for a refund for any used portion of the service. You may cancel your subscription to the AR Code service at any time. Please be aware that canceling your subscription does not entitle you to a refund of any fees or payments already made or pending. Upon cancellation, your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period, allowing you to continue accessing the services until then.
